Members of the 321st Special Tactics Squadron at RAF Mildenhall, Britain, were among the US forces who participated in the Jackal Stone 10 exercise in Lithuania and Poland. The event brought together special operations forces from Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Ukraine, and the US. As part of this, 321st STS pararescuemen took part in a mass-casualty drill at the 21st Tactical Air Base in Swidwin, Poland, with US soldiers and Polish medical personnel. The 321st STS airmen conducted fast rope insertion and extraction training from Army MH-47 helicopters. “This was my first combined, joint exercise, so it helped because I was able to learn about what each of the different services and the local nationals have to offer in terms of medical care,” said Army Capt. Aaron Flagg, who helped plan the late September event. (Swidwin report by TSgt. Marilese Wood)
