Since they deployed to Afghanistan in February, some 70 airmen from Air Force Reserve Command’s 943rd Rescue Group at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., saved 185 people, assisted 120 others, and performed 124 escort missions. The Space Force should take bold, decisive steps—and soon—to develop the capabilities and architecture needed to support more flexible, dynamic operations in orbit and counter Chinese aggression and technological progress, according to a new report from AFA’s Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies.
