Members of the 366th Fighter Wing and Singaporean airmen celebrated five years of the Peace Carvin V program, under which Singaporean air force F-15SG pilots and maintainers train at Mountain Home AFB, Idaho. “Peace Carvin V helps increase partner capacity by providing top-end training to our [Singaporean] partners,” said Lt. Col. William Marshall, commander of the 428th Fighter Squadron, the unit in which the Singaporeans operate. The two nations’ airmen marked the five-year anniversary on May 16, according to a Mountain Home release. In those five years, the Singaporeans were able to bring their F-15SGs to full operational capability ahead of schedule, states the release. Mountain Home offers the Singaporeans the opportunity to fly in the vast airspace around the base, which allows for realistic and safe training and testing. (Mountain Home report by MSgt.
