A military jury found TSgt. Marc Gayden, a former basic military training instructor at JBSA-Lackland, Tex., not guilty of raping a female trainee back in December 2010, reported the San Antonio Express-News. The four-day trial concluded on July 26, according to the newspaper. The jury also acquitted Gayden of several other charges of sexual misconduct. The Express-News reported on July 23 that Gayden, an 11-year airman, was the 25th former MTI at Lackland whom the Air Force has tried for sexual misconduct. (For more on Gayden’s case, see July 25 Express-News report.)
