An F-22 from the 3rd Wing at JB Elmendorf, Alaska, “lost contact with air traffic control at 7:40 p.m. Alaska time” (11:40 East Coast time) on Tuesday while on a routine training mission, officials from the base announced in a release. A search is underway, they said. Stay tuned for more updates.
