We almost missed this one, but SSgt. Dennis Davis has received a Bronze Star for his work with a Weapons Inspection Team in Iraq. Davis, who is with the 67th Network Warfare Wing at Brooks City-Base, Tex., received his medal during a ceremony last month. During his deployment to Iraq, he spent some 550 hours “outside the wire,” working with explosive ordnance disposal personnel to identify and analyze improvised explosive devices and other weapons.
