A March 15 Daily Report entry incorrectly attributed March 8 House Armed Services Committee testimony to both Air Force Global Strike Command chief Gen. Robin Rand and Vice Chief of Staff Gen. Stephen Wilson. Rand did not testify at the hearing, but he did initiate the change in requirements to a minimum of 100 B-21s last spring. We have corrected the original entry.
The Space Force is requesting prototype proposals for space-based interceptors that can destroy a missile during the midcourse phase of flight, on top of its previous efforts to develop interceptors that take down missiles in their boost phase.
