The Air Force will purchase a C-37A executive transport for $26.8 million that it previously leased from Gulfstream Aerospace. The aircraft is based on the Gulfstream V business jet. The Air Force operates a fleet of 10 C-37As that augments the service’s larger Boeing 757-based C-32s for shuttling senior military and government officials.
