Senior leaders of the Air Force and Marine Corps met last week to share the latest in “changes and advancements” in the world of military aviation, particularly how it’s evolving in joint warfighting, says Gen. Michael Moseley, USAF Chief of Staff. The Air Force dubbed the day-long session “The Warfighter Talks.” Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Conway called the talks “a frank exchange of perspectives that confirmed our general agreement on many of the important issues confronting our services today.”
Lt. Gen. Dan Caine, nominee to be chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, told the Senate Armed Services Committee that the Defense Department needs to upgrade its electronic warfare capability and its EW training ranges; just as his predecessor said at his own confirmation hearing.
