It seems that at least one party—Horsham Township manager Michael McGee—is not necessarily pleased by the deal struck by Pennsylvania’s governor and Congressional delegation that would ultimately turn Willow Grove over to the state. The Intelligencer reports that McGee, who was part of a group that would decide how to market surplus Willow Grove property, has called the effort an “attempt to circumvent the BRAC process.” He blames the Air Force. However, he should focus on his state officials, who pushed the endeavor, finally winning USAF acceptance.
