The Air Force voluntarily bought 457,500 megawatt-hours of “green power” last year, thereby winning the service placement at the head of the Environmental Protection Agency’s list of Top 10 federal government green power purchasers in the Green Power Partnership. The Air Force has made the top green list for three years running.
