A B-52 Stratofortress takes off Feb. 8 at Barksdale AFB, La. The B-52 is participating in Combat Hammer, an air-to-ground weapon system evaluation program that is measuring the B-52’s accuracy and effectiveness of its munition employment. The B-52 was loaded with GBU-12s for the exercise, according to a Barksdale release.
