Calling All Cyber Specialists

The Homeland Security Department is trying to find new ways to attract “cyber security talent,” said DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson during his address at AFA’s Air & Space Conference in National Harbor, Md., on Wednesday. “We want to be in a position to compete or at least to encourage people to serve their country for a little while,” said Johnson, who added that there is legislation pending in the Senate that could “enhance our cyber security effort.” Johnson also called for “legal clarity to protect the ‘.gov world’ and our ability to receive and share information from ‘the .com world,’” noting additional bills are pending in Congress that would address those issues.
