A military jury found TSgt. Marc Gayden, a former basic military training instructor at JBSA-Lackland, Tex., not guilty of raping a female trainee back in December 2010, reported the San Antonio Express-News. The four-day trial concluded on July 26, according to the newspaper. The jury also acquitted Gayden of several other charges of sexual misconduct. The Express-News reported on July 23 that Gayden, an 11-year airman, was the 25th former MTI at Lackland whom the Air Force has tried for sexual misconduct. Air Force Changes Rules for Pregnant Aircrew—Again

The Air Force is changing its policy for pregnant aircrew, generally reverting to rules set in 2019 that barred female aviators from flying during the first trimester—or from flying in aircraft with ejection seats at all—due to potential risks to the pilot and her unborn fetus.
