A C-5 transport from the 22nd Airlift Squadron at Travis AFB, Calif., delivered some of the first Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicles to US Army units stationed in South Korea. The airlifter touched down on July 7 at Osan Air Base with two MRAPs in its massive belly, according to a July 10 Osan release. The MRAP vehicles will augment the Army’s capabilities on the peninsula by providing soldiers with additional blast protection while in the field. This was the second shipment of MRAPs to South Korea, states the release. (Osan photo caption by TSgt. Eric Petosky)
