The 
Air Force’s active duty component continues to meet its recruiting goal so far for Fiscal 2011, while the Air National Guard stands a tad shy of its goal and the Air Force Reserve comes in a bit ahead, according to the Pentagon’s newest data, announced Monday. Through March, the Air Force is tracking right on its year-to-date accessions goal, with 14,279 new recruits. As was the case last month, the Air Guard is nine accessions short of its goal, with 3,413 recruits so far. Meanwhile, AFR has attracted 4,539 accessions, 14 more than its year-to-date goal. As for the other services, the Army has slightly exceeded its accessions goal so far, while the Marine Corps and Navy have met theirs. The Army’s reserve components have surpassed their recruiting goals thus far, as has the Marine Corps Reserve. The Navy Reserve has met its goal.
