: An outpatient medical clinic at Patrick AFB, Fla., will get an $18.5 million makeover. The 45th Space Wing Medical Group last week held a ground-breaking ceremony for the new facility, which will be updated in phases to eliminate as many inconveniences as possible. “This is a giant step forward for our medical clinic, its dedicated staff, and the patients seen here,” said Brig. He added, “Ultimately, what we are doing here today is making a promise to the service members of yesterday and today that they will get the best care possible.” About 60,000 patients visit the clinic each year, according to the release.
