Two members of the 436th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Dover AFB, Del., received Bronze Star Medals on Oct. 30 for their meritorious service while deployed to Southwest Asia. TSgt. Jimmy Heater was recognized for his actions as a combat convoy commander in Iraq, during which he completed 15 convoy missions and logged more than 7,000 miles while safely escorting more than 405 contracted vehicles loaded with more than 25,000 tons of supplies. Air Force Changes Rules for Pregnant Aircrew—Again

The Air Force is changing its policy for pregnant aircrew, generally reverting to rules set in 2019 that barred female aviators from flying during the first trimester—or from flying in aircraft with ejection seats at all—due to potential risks to the pilot and her unborn fetus.
