Maj. Gen. Hank Morrow relinquishes command of 1st Air Force (Air Forces Northern) to Maj. Gen. Garry Dean Thursday during a ceremony at Tyndall AFB, Fla. Gen. Gene Renuart, US Northern Command boss, and Gen. William Fraser, head of Air Combat Command, will officiate at the ceremony. Morrow has led 1st AF, which is responsible for the air defense of the continental US, since November 2006. He will become US Defense Representative to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Air Force Changes Rules for Pregnant Aircrew—Again

The Air Force is changing its policy for pregnant aircrew, generally reverting to rules set in 2019 that barred female aviators from flying during the first trimester—or from flying in aircraft with ejection seats at all—due to potential risks to the pilot and her unborn fetus.
