Husband and wife MSgt. Scotty Fogle and MSgt. Dana Fogle stood together at Hangar 1040 on the grounds of Sheppard AFB, Tex., on June 19 and re-upped for five more years during a dual re-enlistment ceremony. Each has already serviced more than 18 years in the Air Force. “One day I’ll look in the mirror and just know that I’m done. But for now, I have much more to do,” said MSgt. Scotty Fogle, currently first sergeant with Sheppard’s 362nd Training Squadron, capturing the sentiments of his wife and himself. She is acting first sergeant for Sheppard’s 82nd Civil Engineer Squadron. MSgt. Scotty Fogle said their jobs require much hard work but are very rewarding. “All of the hours we work are spent making a difference in the lives of our future airmen,” he said. MSgt. Dana Fogle added, “Each promotion, each coin, and each experience make it worth all of the sacrifices.” (Sheppard report by A1C Valerie Hosea)
