The Senate last week confirmed the Air Force’s choice of Maj. Gen. Charles Green as its new Surgeon General, about a month after the White House submitted his nomination. Green, currently serving as deputy Surgeon General, will pin on three stars and replace Lt. Gen. James Roudebush, who has led the service’s medical corps since 2006 and plans to retire officially on Oct. 1.
As with previous stealth aircraft unveilings, the Air Force’s imagery of the F-47 Next-Generation Air Dominance fighter has been doctored to keep adversaries guessing about its true shaping and design philosophy.
