Part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency has begun moving to its new home at Eglin AFB, Fla., a product of the BRAC push to spawn more efficiency with like operations, reports Eglin public affairs specialist Lois Walsh. DTRA has personnel scattered around the world, but is headquartered in Virginia. The initial move involves DTRA’s Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction Division, comprising 11 military, 10 civilians, and 15 support contractors. Eglin is home to the Air Armament Center, which works with DTRA on various projects.
