The Air Force has awarded a Bronze Star to TSgt. Paul Schultz with Air Force Reserve Command’s 920th Rescue Wing, Patrick AFB, Fla., according to a report in Florida Today. Schultz received the award for his actions to help save fellow passengers when the helicopter in which he was riding crashed in central Afghanistan. He was deployed from the 48th Rescue Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., at the time.
