Fire and rescue crews from Whiteman AFB, Mo., went to the aid of local officials in nearby Clinton, Mo., when a building collapsed in the town trapping 10 people, one of whom died. In all, some 200 emergency response personnel from throughout Missouri came to help shift through the debris of the three-story building that partially collapsed during an Elks Club dinner.
