Air Force Space Command is sending forth emissaries to schools to talk up the benefits of pursuing science and engineering programs. According to Stars and Stripes, AFSPC engineers and scientists have to spend at least four hours a year traveling to elementary, middle, or high schools—the command has made it part of their space professional recertification process.
