He’s a bestselling author, a former professor of strategy at the Naval War College who has a popular Weblog and makes numerous speaking engagements. Despite the fact he is also a vocal critic of defense planners for failing to adequately anticipate the current Iraq situation, the Pentagon still wants to talk with him.
