DOD is opening a new facility in St. Petersburg, Fla., to assist in the processing of intelligence for US Special Operations Command, the St. Petersburg Times reports. Rep. C.W. Bill Young (R-Fla.) confirmed the project, offering few details about the classified center but saying it will help the Director of National Intelligence refurbish military intelligence efforts at SOCOM.
