The Pentagon is looking for civilian employees who want to help Katrina victims either by donating unused annual leave or volunteering to work in the cleanup process. The civilians would need to leave their current jobs for 14- to 30-day deployments to the Gulf region. That’s probably OK with a lot of folks, but you have to wonder who will fill in behind them?
