The Pentagon recently named the Air Force as the best performing agency in the Pentagon’s small business program. Two Air Force civilians also received accolades for their stellar business practices: Elizabeth A. Bryant, formerly assigned to the 460th Space Wing, Buckley AFB, Colo., and Reinette Alecozay with Air Education and Training Command, Randolph AFB, Tex. Read more here.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
