Roudebush Nominated as USAF Top Doc: President Bush has nominated Maj. Gen. James G. Roudebush for a third star and to become the Air Force Surgeon General. Roudebush, who currently serves as the deputy SG, would replace Lt. Gen. George Peach Taylor Jr., who plans to retire this summer. Roudebush entered the Air Force in 1975 after receiving his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Nebraska and has served as command surgeon of US Central Command, Pacific Air Forces, and US Transportation Command.
The Space Development Agency wants to wrap up its Tranche 1 launch campaign by the end of spring 2027, flying six more batches of satellites to build out its tracking and data transport constellations, according to Director Gurpartap Sandhoo.
