The latest Gallup Poll has found Democrats and Republicans agree that Congress and the President should focus on Iraq. According to Gallup’s first look at issue importance since the mid-term election, the majority of Americans say Iraq should be the government’s highest priority. The survey, conducted in late November, found that nearly seven in 10 or 69 percent of Americans put Iraq at the top of their concerns list, followed by the economy, healthcare, and immigration—each cited by “fewer than one in five Americans.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
