The Air Force has awarded a Bronze Star medal to Capt. Dana Metzger, operations officer for the 437th Security Forces Squadron at Charleston AFB, S.C, for his actions while deployed to Iraq. SSgt. Jennifer Arredondo reports that Metzger led the Iraqi Corrections Officer Training Academy and helped establish a training regimen that produced more than 1,000 certified Iraqi corrections officers.
Air Force Changes Rules for Pregnant Aircrew—Again

The Air Force is changing its policy for pregnant aircrew, generally reverting to rules set in 2019 that barred female aviators from flying during the first trimester—or from flying in aircraft with ejection seats at all—due to potential risks to the pilot and her unborn fetus.
