The Air Force has awarded Maj. Douglas Webb, 5th Medical Operations Squadron, Minot AFB, N.D., a Bronze Star for his actions during deployment to forward operating base Al Kasik, Iraq. According to the Minot Northern Star, Webb oversaw opening a new $1 million troop medical clinic and medical training for Iraqi soldiers. He also served on 23 combat patrols as a medic, driver, and truck commander, and provided emergency medical care to 70 casualties, among other accomplishments.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
