Public Worried on Iran: The Pew Research Center has released a fresh batch of numbers on the American public’s mood relating to Iran and its pursuit of nuclear technology. According to a recent survey, 71 percent of Americans believe Iran plans to use the technology to build weapons, however, most do not favor pursuing US air strikes against Iranian military targets. A majority (64 percent) favor letting the UN and key nations impose sanctions.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
