NATO’s military leadership has agreed to closer cooperation between its International Security Assistance Force peacekeepers and the US-led coalition that is engaged in combat operations. That’s the word from NATO’s Military Committee chairman, Canadian Gen. Ray Henault. Yet to be done: Political leaders must finalize the agreement. The Space Development Agency says it’s on track to issue its next batch of missile warning and tracking satellite contracts this month after those awards were delayed by the Pentagon’s decision to divert funds from the agency to pay troops during this fall’s prolonged government shutdown.
