Utah Makes Good on Gift: We reported earlier that UTAH local and state officials had offered to buy some equipment for Utah military facilities—they delivered. The Ogden Air Logistics Center at Hill AFB, Utah, has received $4.4 million worth of equipment out of a $5 million donation, raised predominantly by the Utah Defense Alliance. The money for Hill bought four lathes for the 309th Maintenance Wing.
The last remaining T-1 Jayhawk at JBSA-Randolph, Texas, took its final flight to the "Boneyard" at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., on July 15. The 99th Flying Training Squadron will train pilots using T-6 and simulator until it gets T-7 Red Hawk in fiscal 2026.
