Airmen with the 774th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron from Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, prepared and airdropped surprise bundles—sodas, cookies, beef jerky, CDs, DVDs, socks, T-shirts, and more—on the 4th of July for soldiers at some of the most remote forward operating bases throughout Afghanistan. Arranging and packing these gift bundles was a joint effort of senior Army leaders in Combined Joint Task Force-76 and the Air Force C-130 crews. In total, the 774th EAS airdropped 14 container delivery system bundles weighing 1,500 pounds each to seven locations. (Read more here.)
