The Air Force plans to hold a public meeting on Dec. 5 to elicit comments about its proposal to create a Common Battlefield Airman Training program at Arnold AFB, Tenn. Arnold and Barksdale AFB, La., and Moody AFB, Ga., are under consideration for the CBAT effort, which could bring some 2,600 additional personnel to either location on a daily basis and construction of classroom and living facilities and training fields.
