Air Force Reserve Command surpassed its recruiting goal for the fifth straight year, and did so in record time. The recruiting year ends Sept. 30, but by Aug. 11, AFRC had already met its goal of 8,800 recruits for the year. That is the earliest date it has ever hit its recruitment mark.
The Air Force’s recruiting momentum is showing no signs of slowing in 2026, and leaders are already thinking about how they might get after even bigger goals in 2027 and beyond.
