On Capitol Hill, Senators are trying to use a nonbinding resolution to encourage the Administration to have second thoughts. According to the National Journal, the plan by resolution-leaders Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and Sen. Ben Nelson (D-Neb.), the chairman and ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Personnel Subcommittee, is to get out ahead of the Administration’s release next week of the 2007 defense budget and QDR.
