The Pentagon announced Sunday that A1C Carl Jerome Ware Jr., 22, of Glassboro, N.J., had died July 1 from a non-combat related cause at Camp Bucca, Iraq. The airman was deployed to Iraq from the 15th Security Forces Squadron, Hickam AFB, Hawaii. The death is under investigation.
The rate of building B-21 bombers would speed up if the fiscal 2026 defense budget passes. But it remains unclear how much capacity would be added, and whether the Air Force would simply build the bombers faster, or buy more.
